Users in SFactrix represent employees in the factory operations. These employees can belong to different levels of hierarchy with different roles to play in the management of factory operations. Factory operations management will be digitalized among all employees with the user feature of SFactrix.
Pre-condition – You must have an Admin account, created plant, work center, and asset.
How to create factory users?
o Login to your SFactrix.ai account.
o From the settings page, under management section, click on the ‘Users’ card.
o Click the ‘Add User’ button on the users page.
o The Add user page will appear. Fill in with proper data as shown below.
o Once you fill the data, click on the 'submit' button to create the user.
o Once the user has been created, the user will receive an email to the given email ID with default SFactrix login credentials. Those credentials have to be used to Login to SFactrix initially, password can be changed soon after logging in the first time.
How to edit / update existing users?
o Login to your SFactrix.ai account.
o From the settings page, under management section, click on the ‘Users’ card.
o Click the ‘edit’ icon (the user you wish to edit) from the action column of the users list view page.
o Make the necessary edits you wish to make.
o Click the update button as shown below to save the changes / edits.
How to delete factory users?
o Login to your SFactrix.ai account.
o From the settings page, under management section, click on the ‘Users’ card.
o Click the ‘edit’ icon (the user you wish to delete) from the action column of the users list view page.
o The edit use page will appear.
o Click the Delete button.
o You will be asked if you are sure to delete the user, click yes as shown below. The user will be deleted.
List of user types and user role:
User Type | User Role | Definition |
Account User | Account Admin | Super Admin who is responsible for managing overall SFactrix account on behalf of the organization. |
Account User | Account Viewer | Account viewer who need just viewing options of all features and functions of the SFactrix account. |
Factory User | Executive | The top management of any manufacturing organization who wants to see the overall factory performance, workload and productions. Ex: CEO, COO, Managing Director, Director and Board Members. |
Factory User | Plant Manager | The Head of the Plant or GM or Operational Head who would like to monitor the entire plant performance or operational performance. |
Factory User | Plant Viewer | Someone who want to have a view level of access of all metrics at the plant operations. |
Factory User | Work Center Manager | Factory Supervisor, Head of Dept, Line Manager, Shop floor Manager or Work Center Manager who wants to have access to shop floor or line level. |
Factory User | Work Center Viewer | Viewer level access to work center, shop floor or line level. |
Factory User | Asset Manager | Machine Operator, Machine Supervisor, Machine Engineer who want to see the OEE and Asset performance can be Asset Manager user. |
Factor User | Asset Viewer | Viewer only account for Machine Operator, Machine Supervisor, Machine Engineer users. |
Factory User | Job Operator | Job Operators are mostly Machine Operators who execute various product tasks in the machine level, responsible to track the machine running hours, production quantity, scrap or rejection etc. |
Why am I unable to add a user?
There could be many reasons that you may not able to add new users. It is depending on the type of user role and level of access that you have to add a users. Also the application will throw appropriate error message depending on the issues in adding users.
