Login to your Fogwing CMMS account by going to https://cmms.fogwing.net/
Click on the settings menu item present on the menu bar.
Once on the settings page, click on Asset Management in the navigation bar and then on the "Root Cause Analysis" (RCA) card.
You will be navigated to the root cause analysis page.
The cards on the Root cause analysis page provide the root cause analysis summary.
Total Failures: Total reported fault work orders requiring root cause analysis.
Open: The total number of fault work orders is open and involves root cause analysis.
In-Progress: Total number of fault work orders that are in draft state and require completion of root cause analysis.
Published: Total number of fault work orders for which root cause analysis has been completed.
Click on the three dots under the action section for the fault work order for which you wish to create RCA.
Click on the Create RCA option.
Create Root Cause Analysis form will open. Go to the Root Cause Analysis (5 Why) section on the Create Root Cause Analysis form
The Root Cause Analysis (5 Why ) section will appear.
Generate RCA code.
To Edit the RCA question, toggle the Edit RCA Questions switch.
You can now edit the RCA question according to your choice.
To create an RCA manually, fill in the five Why questions and corrective action section and click the submit button.
Click on the Generate RCA with AI icon to create RCA with AI.
The RCA Generation pop-up will appear with a count of total available credits and a note: Each request requires one credit to create RCA.
Click on the Proceed button if you are ok with the requirement.
The complete detailed answers will be provided with the help of generative AI.
If you want to edit the RCA in the future, click the Save as Draft button.
Once you save the RCA as a draft, its status will change from Open to In-Progress.
Click the submit button to create an RCA for the fault work order.
If you click the Submit button, the RCA creation is complete, and the status changes to Completed.
