How to create manufacturing reports?
SFactrix MES application comes with an inbuilt reporting feature to generate manufacturing KPIs and performance metrics as reports. Users can also export the reports. In simple terms, the manager level of users can query the type of report required to view and export in MS-Excel or CSV file format.
Pre-condition: To generate a report, you should be an account admin or plant manager in SFactrix MES. Machine operators cannot generate any report in SFactrix MES.
There are 4 kind of manufacturing reports available today.
Asset-based Performance Reports
Order-based Execution Reports
Manufacturing Orders
Work Orders
Quality Reports based on Production.
Maintenance Report.
Let's look at each of the reports in the following sections.
How to create Asset Performance KPIs as a report?
Asset-based report provides the machine performance and production metrics as a report. Users are allowed to query metrics based on production data reported by the machine operators.
There are 2 types of assets KPIs that can be generated in SFactrix MES as of now.
Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
Production Performance
OEE Report - Overall Equipment Effectiveness report will generate the OEE metrics along with Availability, Performance and Quality values again each day.
Production Performance Report - This report will provide the work order-based asset efficiency with the total quantity produced, good quantity, rejection as date-wise.
The following steps will guide you to generate asset based performance reports in SFactrix MES.
Login to your SFactrix.ai account by going to https://app.sfactrix.ai.
From the settings page, under 'Actions' section, click on the 'Reports’ card.
The 'Reports' form will appear. To generate the asset report, select the 'Asset' tab.
Select a proper date range, asset name, and report type as shown below.
Click on the 'Submit' button to view the reports. The system will generate report based on the data inputs provided by machine operations during the work order execution.
You can also export the data by clicking on the "Export" button which will download the report data in comma separate file (CSV) or excel sheet.
Please note the details of important parameters required to view the Asset reports.

Enter a date range. | Enter the date range of the reports you wish to view. |
Choose an Asset. | Choose an asset whose data is to be viewed from the drop-down menu. |
Choose Metrics type. | Choose the Metrics type as "Overall Equipment Effectiveness" or "Production performance" from the drop-down menu. |
How to create 'Order' reports in SFactrix?
SFactrix smart MES application has an inbuilt reporting feature to facilitate its management users to generate and export the manufacturing orders as report. Users can query the type of report required between date ranges to view and export it in MS-Excel or CSV file format.
Pre-condition: To generate an order report, you should be an account admin or plant manager. Operators cannot generate any reports.
Steps to generate an 'Order' report:
The following steps will guide you to generating an 'Order' report in SFactrix.
Login to your SFactrix.ai account by going to https://app.sfactrix.ai.
From the settings page, under 'Actions' section, click on the 'Reports’ card.
To generate the order report, select the 'Order' tab on the Reports page.
Enter a date range and choose a customer in the drop-down list. You can either select one, multiple, or all customers.
Choose a manufacturing order, you can select one or multiple manufacturing orders in the drop-down list.
Click the 'Submit' button. The order report data will appear.
Understanding of the single and multiple Manufacturing orders reports:
The order report can be generated as per the user's requirement on single or multiple manufacturing-order data. If you select a single manufacturing order, the report will generate all the work order details associated with that particular manufacturing order.
If you select multiple/all customers and work orders, the report will be generated with all the work-order details.
You can also export the data by clicking on the 'Export' button which will download the report in comma separated file (CSV) or excel sheet.

How to create 'Quality' reports in SFactrix?
The 'Quality' reports feature in SFactrix generates the quality of production report of each 'part' involved in a manufacturing process. Users can query the quality report on each part that they require, between any date ranges to view and export it in MS-Excel or CSV file format.
Pre-condition: To generate a quality report, you should be an account admin or plant manager. Operators cannot generate any report.
Steps to generate a 'Quality' report:
The following steps will guide to generating quality report in SFactrix.
Login to your SFactrix.ai account by going to https://app.sfactrix.ai.
From the settings page, under 'Actions' section, click on the 'Reports’ card.
To generate the quality report, select the 'Quality' tab.
Enter a date range and choose a part from the drop-down list for which the data is to be generated.
Choose the overall shift and click on the 'submit' button. The quality report data is generated successfully.
Understanding of the 'Quality' report in SFactrix:
The 'Quality' report feature in SFactrix enables its users to view the data on overall rejection, its reasons, the percentage of efficiency (good quality production), and the total no. of quality production of the selected part/item.
You can also export the data by clicking on the 'Export' button which will download the report in a comma-separated file (CSV) or excel sheet.

How to create 'Maintenance' reports in SFactrix?
Assets are an integral part of a manufacturing unit. Keeping the assets functional at all times, is the primary goal of a manufacturing unit. This can be achieved by regular maintenance of assets and keeping an eye on the maintenance records and schedules.
SFactrix application has an inbuilt reporting feature to generate and export the assets' maintenance report. Users can query each asset's maintenance report, required between date ranges to view and export it in MS-Excel or CSV file format.
Pre-condition: To generate a 'Maintenance' report, you should be an account admin or plant manager. Operators cannot generate any reports.
Steps to generate a 'Maintenance' report:
The following steps will guide you to generating a 'Maintenance' report in SFactrix.
Login to your SFactrix.ai account by going to https://app.sfactrix.ai.
From the settings page, under the 'Actions' section, click on the 'Reports’ card.
To generate the maintenance report, Select the 'Maintenance' tab.
Enter a date range for which the maintenance report is to be generated.
Choose a plant. You can select one or multiple plants in the drop-down list.
Next, choose an asset for which a maintenance report is to be generated. you can select one or multiple assets in the drop-down list.
Click on the 'Submit' button. The maintenance report will appear.
Understanding of the 'Maintenance' report in SFactrix:
A maintenance report in SFactrix can be generated against one or multiple assets at a time. This feature helps its users to keep a check on the maintenance of all the assets on a regular basis.
The maintenance report reflects the data on specific assets' maintenance type, maintenance schedule, duration, etc.
You can also export the data by clicking on the "Export" button which will download the report data in comma separate file (CSV) or excel sheet.
