We are excited to introduce the latest enhancements in Fogwing CMMS Version 2.31. This release focuses on improving reporting, maintenance visibility, workforce management, and mobile usability to help teams streamline daily operations and improve maintenance efficiency.


1. Improved Reports Experience – Simpler, Cleaner & More Organized

The Reports module has been enhanced to provide a more intuitive, structured, and user-friendly experience based on customer feedback.

Enhanced Maintenance Schedule Report

The Maintenance Schedule Report now provides improved plant-level planning and visibility.

What’s Improved

  • Reports can now be filtered using:

    • Plant/Facility (Mandatory)

    • Work Order Type (Optional)

  • Asset-based filters have been removed for simplified usage

  • Get a complete view of maintenance schedules across the plant in one place


Enhanced Maintenance Compliance Report (Planned vs Completed)

The Maintenance Compliance Report now offers improved visibility into maintenance execution and delays.

What’s Improved

  • Simplified filtering options:

    • Plant/Facility (Mandatory)

    • Work Order Type (Optional)

  • Asset-based filters removed for broader operational visibility

  • Continued support for date range selection

  • New Deviation in Days field to quickly identify delays

  • Better tracking of planned vs completed maintenance activities


Improved Work Order Summary Report

The Work Order Summary Report is now cleaner and easier to review.

What’s Improved

  • Simplified filters:

    • Plant/Facility (Mandatory)

    • Work Order Type (Optional)

  • Removed unnecessary filters to reduce complexity

  • Continued support for date range selection


New: Maintenance Cost Report

A brand-new Maintenance Cost Report has been introduced to help organizations monitor and analyze maintenance expenses more effectively.

Key Features

  • Filter reports by:

    • Plant/Facility (Mandatory)

    • Work Order Type (Optional)

  • Analyze maintenance cost trends using selected date ranges

  • Visual chart representation for improved cost analysis


Unified Compliance Reporting

Previously, Maintenance Compliance and Preventive Maintenance Compliance were available as separate reports.

With this enhancement, all work order types are now consolidated into a single Unified Compliance Report, providing a centralized and comprehensive view of maintenance performance across the organization.


2. Enhanced Work Order Summary Reports

Work Order Summary exports have been enhanced to support better documentation, audits, and reporting.

What’s New

  • Attached images can now be included in the Work Order Summary PDF

  • Helps capture:

    • On-site evidence

    • Completed work details

    • Before/after conditions

  • Digital signatures captured through the mobile app are now included in reports

  • Improves accountability and verification of completed work


3. Enhanced Skill Matrix Management

A new Skill Matrix tab has been added within the Add/Update User Profile section to help organizations manage employee skills and training records more effectively.

What’s New

  • Capture core skills such as:

    • PLC

    • Hydraulics

    • Pneumatics

    • HVAC

    • CNC

  • Define skill levels:

    • Beginner

    • Intermediate

    • Expert

  • Track years of experience and certifications

  • Record multi-skill capabilities

  • Maintain training attended details and renewal dates


4. Enhanced User Management

Important improvements have been introduced to strengthen security and simplify workforce administration.

Simplified & Secure Password Management

What’s Improved

  • Clear notification that passwords are auto-generated and shared via email during user creation or updates

  • Added Reset Password option for:

    • Managers

    • Admins

    • Supervisors


5. Enhanced Checklist Management

The Checklist Module has been upgraded to make maintenance activities more structured and flexible.

New & Standardized Checklist Categories

New Categories Added

  • Safety

  • Calibration

  • Soft Service

  • Corrective

  • Preventive


Multiple Checklist Selection

What’s New

  • Users can now select up to 3 checklists per Work Order

  • Supported across:

    • Work Order module

    • Preventive Maintenance module


6. Enhanced Fault / Failure Management

The Fault/Failure Module has been upgraded to improve fault tracking and root cause analysis.

What’s Improved

  • Capture detailed fault information including:

    • Fault Type

    • Cause of Fault

    • Remedy for Fault

  • Fault Types are now displayed as badges across the application for improved visibility


7. Enhanced Mobile App Experience

Several enhancements have been introduced to improve mobile usability and field maintenance operations.

What’s New

  • Support for multiple checklists within Work Orders

  • Calendar View for improved schedule visibility

  • Better visibility of upcoming Work Orders

  • Quick barcode scanning for Parts management

  • Location selection for Soft Service requests

  • Offline support for Work Orders with automatic sync after connectivity is restored

  • General performance improvements and bug fixes for a smoother experience
