If you are just starting your digital operations management journey on SFactrix.ai, 'Work Center' is the second step in setting up your virtual factory on SFactrix.ai. Work centers are sub-classifications of a ‘Plant’. Each work center is to be assigned to a plant. Work centers can be different in either their location or operation. It simply helps trace the trajectory of production from resource allocation to finished product.

As per the recent release, creating a work center manually is not mandatory in SFactrix. When a 'plant' is created in SFactrix, a default work center corresponding to the plant is automatically created under the organization setting of SFactrix.

Pre-condition – 'Plant' should be created prior to creating a manual work center.
