1. How do we import data in the Fogwing Asset+ Platform?
The Fogwing Asset Plus CMMS Platform offers robust data import capabilities to integrate vast amounts of data into the system. This guide outlines the step-by-step process for importing data into the Fogwing Asset Plus CMMS Platform.
Step 1: Prepare Your Data for Import
Identify the Data to be Imported: Determine the types of data you need to import, such as assets and parts.
Format the Data: Ensure your data is formatted correctly. Import data from a CSV file to create assets and parts in your account. Your CSV should include a header row with a field name and unique code for data identification.
CSV Format: To successfully import the data, use the CSV template. To access the file format, click the link at the top right.
Clean Data: Verify that your data is clean and consistent. Remove any duplicates, correct errors, and ensure that all mandatory fields are filled.
Steps to Import Data in Fogwing Asset+:
Login to your Fogwing Asset+ account by visiting https://app.assetplus.ai/
Click on the Settings menu item present on the menu bar.
Once on the settings page, click on Account Settings in the navigation bar and then on the "Data Import" section.
You will be navigated to the Data Import page, where you can import and manage the data.
Select the data type that you wish to import.
Choose the file to import data and click on the submit button.
Once you upload the data file, you can track the data import status.
Data Import status will change from in progress to processed once the data import process is initialized.
