Maintenance, Repair and Operations requests are triggered by customer, factory administration, plant managers or engineers to maintenance team. These maintenance requests are later converted into work orders by maintenance team to conduct the asset maintenance process. Maintenance requests are on-demand basis to notify a maintenance manager that an asset or facility might need maintenance or repair.
1. How to create a Maintenance request in the asset+ CMMS?
Login to your Asset+ account by going to https://app.assetplus.ai/
Click on the MRO request icon present on the menu bar.
You can also go to the MRO Request page by clicking the setting icon and selecting the MRO Request card by clicking the Action card on the setting page.
Click on the create maintenance Request button.
The 'Create Maintenance Request' form will appear, enter the required data in the respective field and press Submit button.
Please note the details of each parameter required to create a Maintenance Request in Asset+.
Field | Description |
Choose an Asset | Choose an asset that requires the maintenance |
Choose a Customer | Choose, the customer who has raised the maintenance request. |
Maintenance Type | Select the type of asset maintenance required from the drop-down. |
Target Date | Mention the target date when the maintenance process needs to be done |
Description | Describe the reason for the maintenance requests. |
Note: On-Demand, Fault, and Preventive are the three maintenance types in asset+.
2. How to edit Maintenance Requests in the Asset+ CMMS.
For a maintenance manager to view or edit the Asset maintenance work order, he needs to be a manager user in the asset+ platform. To check how to create a manager user account in Asset+, click on the link: [link to create an account]
Login to your Asset+ account by going to https://app.assetplus.ai/
Click on the MRO Request icon in the Asset+ menu bar.
You can also go to the MRO Request page by clicking the setting icon and selecting the MRO Request card by clicking the Action card on the setting page.
You will be directed to the MRO Request, which includes a detailed view of the maintenance request created.
Click on the three dots under the Action field against the maintenance request raised that you want to view/edit.
Click on the View/Edit Option.
The 'Edit maintenance' form will appear. Please view/ edit the required data in the respective field.
Press the Update button to update a maintenance request.
3. How to delete the MRO Request in the Asset+ CMMS?
Login to your Asset+ account by going to https://app.assetplus.ai/
Click on the Maintenance Request icon present on the menu bar.
Click the three dots under the Action field against the maintenance request you wish to delete.
Click on the delete option to receive a pop-up: " Are you sure to delete?" Click on "yes" to delete the maintenance request.
